The Paraciora Deer Park awaits you in Badia. In this 7-hectare area you can roe deer, see red deer, fawns and many other majestic animals. It is the ideal place to find your balance and relax. 

In the Puez Odle Natural Park, on the other hand, at an average altitude of 2500 metres, more than 10,000 hectares of nature, animals and flowers of all kinds await you.

There are more than 400 km of trails, including high-altitude walks, summit climbs and mountain bike tours: a true paradise for those who love active holidays and hiking.

what to see?

During a holiday in Badia, the little church of Santa Croce, located directly on the slopes,is definitely worth a visit. On the way to the sanctuary, there are numerous mountain huts and refuges where one can stop and rest, enjoying delicacies in a mix of Ladin, German and Italian flavours and traditions.

As proof of the love for Ladin culture and traditions, numerous events punctuate the village calendar. From sporting competitions to Christmas markets, all the way to the Slitada da Paur, a typical parade with horse-drawn sleighs and riders in Tyrolean dress that takes place at the beginning of March. You can follow the procession on a route through the alpine pastures of Val Badia.

Also worth mentioning is the Lalung Lake, loved by young and old alike. This small lake lies in the middle of nature, surrounded by the imposing Dolomite peaks, and is a popular destination for those who want to relax and spend a day in the green.
