It is from here that the Sellaronda circuit, the ski tour around the Sella massif in the Dolomites, passes. . This slope connects the 4 most important passes in the Dolomites (Passo Campolongo, Passo Pordoi, Passo Sella and Passo Gardena), taking you on a discovery of marvellous landscapes.
Particularly popular are the slopes of Val Stella Alpina, which, with its wide, snow-covered slopes, is the ideal destination for more leisurely skiers; while more expert skiers can try their hand at off-piste skiing in fresh snow to experience moments of pure adrenaline and unlimited fun. Hiking in Colfosco is the best way to enjoy the incredible views that this valley has to offer. Summer starts around June, when the snow gives way to a landscape to be experienced.
Thanks to its elevated position, the summer is mild and the maximum temperature in the summer months is 18-20°C, making this village the perfect destination for those wishing to spend a holiday away from the sultry heat of the cities.
With ski lifts open in summer, hiking enthusiasts can enjoy a variety of itineraries, discovering nature. Hiking trails will take you to the Puez Odle Nature Park, where pleasant walks await. More experienced hikers, on the other hand, can try more difficult routes such as those in the Sella Group: Val Mezdì and Pisciadù.
